This is a super easy activity that doesn't require any extra materials! Introduce the concept of same and different to the children. Have two children come up to the front of the group. Tell the class that you are going to talk about what is the same and what is different about these children. Give the children an example so they know how this will work. For example, "They both have pink on", "They both have hair", "They both are girls", etc... and "Johnny is a boy and Sarah is a girl", "Sally has brown hair and Lisa has red hair", "Suzy is wearing socks and Brian isn't", etc...
Make sure everyone gets a turn to go to the front of the group. The kids have a lot of fun talking about and getting to know their peers this way!
